AWWW shit! Me too! Thanks guys.I have been meaning to post this and with Meri's, Jen's and Lorraine's recent posts I was reminded that I need to THANK YOU!

Apparently BETA BUDDIES was nominated in two of the categories for the 2010 Diabetes On-line Community Awards.

And...The categories are:

  • Best Use Of BAD Language
  • Funniest Blogger

Go here to check it out. I am in some very good company and frankly, I am humbled. Please go support your favorite D-Bloggers by voting. Voting ends on December 31st.

So, I guess this means my cookie-assed "Ginger Boy" and "Ginger Girl" who are holding hands in true "BUDDY" fashion

with oh so happy and gay smiles plastered across their faces along with the flow of my site ruined my chances for the Best Blog Design category? And honestly, if you people knew me in real life... I would be a shu-in for the Hair Category!

I had a dream, or really a nightmare two nights ago. It was about plagiarism. I had stolen Wil's fantastically placed, eloquently executed, phonetically perfected use of "fuck face" and I didn't even link to him or anything. He ended a blog with it ... the "fuck face" ....the other day. I was jealous that I hadn't thought inserting that most descriptive word combo in a post to date. You should go check it out. The blog. Not the "fuck face". It was a good one.

I wonder is it the quality? or the quantity? on the profanity nomination. I place them (the "bad" words) where they truly do run through my thought feed while living my life, which seems to be one, big, long blog post. I do not curse in front of my children. I do curse when with my friends. And yes, my favorite saying is "For Fuck's-sake" usually muttered quietly upon exhalation while frustrated, exasperated, or flustered.

And on the "Funniest Blogger" category...well I don't know what the fuck you're talking about!

A day-in-the-life of THANKING YOU!!!!
