Well the results are in, the time is now. For three months I have been extra vigilante of what I was eating been exercising like crazy. Walking 4 to 6 miles 5 days a week, stability training, and yes of course ZUMBA!!! twice a week. Since the surgery (gallbladder) I am finally feeling better. in July of 2009 my A1C was 6.0 in march of 2010 my A1C was 6.2 and in July of 2010 my A1C weighed in at 6.5. My doctor wrote me a script for meds but I told him that I was going to wait for
three months to see if I could get it down before getting the script filled. We agreed to this. I have been almost 7 years (in Feb) without having to take meds and have been in control as much as possible with all the things going on with my body. And as I am sure most of you know surgery is no place for a diabetic. Talk about screwing up you BG’s! Anyway it has been 7 months since the surgery and things are starting to fall into place again for me (YEA! Just a little cheer for me!) Because they fixed the broken A1C machine and did my A1C results and it wasssssssssss……….. (DrummmmmRollllllllllllll)

Down .5 from the last time (Cheering and clapping in the background) Yes, Yes I would like to thank everyone who supported me through this rough time, all the little people who crossed their fingers, legs whatever in hopes that once again I could achieve control of this sucky disease! And yes I know I got to do it all again in three months.
Ain’t it GRAND.
